Farmer's Note
Born in Shandong Province, I studied chemistry in college and worked in that field until the early 2000s. As my passion for tea turned into an obsession, I traveled to Fuding, Fujian Province to study white tea production from one of the most prestigious white tea producers in the country. Two years later, I acquired two tea gardens and their respective factories in Tai Mu Mountain, Fuding to implement what I have learned and further refine farming and production techniques. Instead of hiring new management and production, I retained the original staff from both sites to ensure their financial stability. Being an “outsider” poses many challenges, but it’s immensely rewarding to see the growth of our business while taking great care of our tea trees and people.
